March 12th, 2011 - Saturday - 5 pm 

Teen and Miss Interview/Speeches will begin around 12 noon.

 

Prizes:  There will be one queen and 4 alternates in each age division.  Queens will receive an Official Forestry Crown, Official Crowning Pin, Satin Monogrammed Banner, Official Forestry Trophy, Gifts, Savings Bonds, Cash Scholarships and your entry fees (excluding optional and ads) paid to represent Wayne at the 72nd Annual Miss Georgia Forestry State Scholarship Pageant to be held in Tifton in June 2011. Alternates will receive an Official Forestry Trophy and everyone not placing will receive a Participation Trophy.

 

Optional Prizes:  Prettiest Dress, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Face and Best Personality, Photogenic will receive nice prizes, People’s Choice Queens will receive a crown and nice prizes, and Hospitality will receive same prizes as the Queens.

 

Age Divisions:  Baby Miss 0-23 months, Teeny Miss 2-3 years, Tiny Miss 4-6 years, Little Miss 7-9 years, Junior Miss 10-12 years, Teen Miss 13-16 years and Miss 17-24 years 

 

Entry Fee:  Baby Miss thru Junior Miss will be $85.00 beauty fee

Entry Fee:  Teen and Miss Division will be $100.00 beauty fee

 

Optional Categories:  Prettiest Dress $10.00, Prettiest Smile $10.00, Prettiest Face $10.00, Best Personality $10.00 and Photogenic $10.00 (extra photos $5.00 each) -   Photogenic Photos (if entering Photogenic Category) are due by Friday, March 11, 2011.

   

Miss Hospitality Queen and People's Choice Queens: The contestant that collects the most money will be named our Hospitality Queen. The money raised for people's choice will be calculated and the contestant with the most (minimum of $350) will be named the Wayne County Forestry Hospitality Queen. She will receive a crown, banner, other prizes, and have a paid entry to the State Pageant in June. A People's Choice Queen will also be named in each age division for the contestant that raises the most money (minimum of $100) per age division, but does not win the Hospitality Queen title. Start raising money now and turn it into the Director's the day of the pageant. 

 

Teen and Miss Contestant’s competition will begin at approximately 12:00 Noon on Saturday evening with Interviews and Speeches.  (We will call you prior to the pageant with your Interview/Speech time).

 

Baby, Teeny, Tiny, Little, Junior, Teen and Miss Beauty competition will begin at 5:00 pm on Saturday night.

 

Check Off Sheet for Contestants

  1. Application form completed (typed for Teen and Miss Contestants)
  2. Teen and Miss must submit original and 3 other copies for the judges
  3. Color or Black and White photo for newspaper and website
  4. Entry Fees for all events you are entering
  5. Photogenic Photo if entering Photogenic Category are due by Friday, March 11, 2011.
  6. Rules sheet signed and sent with the application
  7. We will need a copy of your birth certificate only if your age comes into question or if you were to win the pageant, to send to the State Pageant.
  8. We will only need your social security number if you were to win the pageant, to send to the State Pageant.
  9. We will call Teen and Miss Contestants by Thursday, March 10h with their interview time.
  10. You must have all this information to the Director by March 4.

Rules:  Our have not changed they are the same as always.  Our queens can compete in other pageants if they would like.  They just have to make their appearances as a Forestry Queen.  Some contestants have misinformed that if they win a Forestry Pageant that they cannot compete in other pageants.  THIS IS NOT TRUE!
